As for construction, the Nitecore D2 Charger is made of durable ABS, which is flame resistant. This charger is compatible with Li-ion, Ni-MH, and Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries and has an optimized charging design for IMR batteries. Besides, it comes with an automatic detection of battery type. With the help of this intelligent charging circuitry, the D2 chooses the optimal charging mode (CC, CV and dV/dt). Then each of the two slots monitors and charges the battery independently.
